It was a privilege to work on my first release title as an Environment Artist, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Game.
At the start of production, we had a goal in mind to match the environment as close as possible to the house in the 1974 movie, making sure that we had every little detail correct from the blood decals in the kitchen to the hanging bones in the front room. We spend hours gathering references from the film and behind the scene shots to get a near perfect representation.
I was the Lead Arist on the Family House map. I was responsible for creating the interior of the house as well as the basement. I created multiple assets and materials that are used across the map. My main job was telling a visual story through prop placement. I also worked on foliage painting around the grounds of the house. I worked closely with the Level Design and the Lighting Artists to ensure we have a great balance between gameplay and visual storytelling.
I am proud to be a part of an amazing team of people who helped to bring this map to life!
